At Nepal Yoga Academy we offer personalized retreat packages to fit your needs and schedule. Set in the hills, surrounded by the jungle and overlooking the beautiful Kathmandu Valley. Enjoy massages, yoga, meditation, mantra chanting, hikes, sightseeing and more. Experience a yogic peace of mind in attractive packages fitted specifically for you by you. A Yoga Holiday allows you to be totally flexible with your time. We encourage you to join our yoga/meditation sessions twice a day, but if you want to hang out in our beautiful garden or chill on the balcony, that is totally fine. These offer you flexibility of time whilst being held in the embrace of a deeply supportive and restorative yoga and relaxation retreat.

Note: Sirodhara (Oil pouring onto the head), and Deep Tissue Massage (90minutes) can be arranged on request with an additional charge.

Day Morning Activities

6:30 to 7:00 : Meditation & Chanting

7:00 to 7:15 : Tea break

7:15 to 8:00 : Pranayama (breathing practice)

8:00 to 8:15 : Tea break

8:15 to 9:30 : Asana practice

9:30 to 10:30 : Breakfast

Day Midday Activities

Your midday (10:30 am to 5:00 pm) will be enriched with a range of spa and Ayurvedic activities tailored for your comfort and enjoyment, with lunch served at 1:00 pm. Each day we will offer something new, keeping your experience fresh and truly enjoyable.

Day Evening Activities

3:30 to 5:15 : Workshop

5:15 to 5:30 : Tea break

5:30 to 6:30 : Evening asana, relaxation/meditation

6:30 onward : Dinner & rest

How to get there?

  • Located between Kathmandu and Nagarkot.
  • 22 km from Tribhuvan International Airport, 10 km from Bhaktapur, 25 km from Thamel, and 1 km from Telkot.
  • Hire a cab from the airport or request us to arrange one for a fee.
  • You can use local public transportation

What to bring?

  • Warm clothing for mornings and evenings (winter)
  • Warm socks, hat, waterproof walking shoes, outdoor wear (winter/rainy season)
  • Headlamp and batteries or flashlight *optional
  • Conservative dress for temple visits; cotton conservative dress for yoga
  • Refillable water bottle/thermos (drinking water and tea are provided on-site).
