I completed the 200h YTT as well as the Foundational Sound Healing Course at the Nepal Yoga Academy and really enjoyed this beautiful journey in a stunning location with incredible classmates and inspiring and kind teachers and academy staff.
The 25 day training was filled with interesting discussions, great and sometimes challenging physical training, good food and fun activities (such as hikes and visits to cultural places) on our off days.
I started this journey to improve my yoga practice and learn more about the yogic lifestyle, but I took away so much more. Our teachers provided us with tools to follow our path for a more peaceful mind and body and to develop a way of life that makes us happy.
I highly recommend this school for a YTT!

It is said to be a month of training. It could certainly become a game or a life-changer for oneself ! This is actually how I experience it over these 26 days, along with Guruji’s teachings and his wonderful team. His relentless effort to keep the genuine authenticity of classical Hatha Yoga classes, in times where Yoga core concepts and practices are much twisted in Western societies, was highly resonating to me.
Enabling me to better balance and complement my meditative practice with more traditional teachings of Hatha Yoga, such as Assanas, Pranayamas, Philosophy, Ayurvedic food introduction, and Sound Healing. All this, nestled in a beautiful green hill, within a great natural environment close to a tropical forest, and at equal proximity to Kathmandu and Bhaktapur cities. Simply and Heartfully, to warmly thank you again for preserving and opening Hatha Yoga’s essence to us. Consciously yours 🙏

Hello everyone! My name is Olga Salugina. Words cannot convey the emotions that I feel. I studied at the Yoga Academy on the RYS 300. The training time flew by very quickly. The class schedule was very busy, we studied pranayama, various meditation techniques, advanced asanas, practiced various types of yoga – Ashtanga, Nidra, Hatha, Vinyasa, Power, Partner yoga. We studied the philosophy of Patanjali and just talked about yoga, what transformations it brings to our lives. Studying at Nepal Yoga Academy is one of the most exciting events in my life. The amount of knowledge that I have gained is simply priceless, low bow to my teachers Dr. Chintamani Gautam, Vivek Paudel and Samit Gautam. The living conditions are more than at a high level. Comfortable Nepali-style rooms, delicious vegetarian menu, spa, massage, beautiful grounds, peaceful quiet place, attentive staff. The school has done everything for our comfortable living and learning. Thank you!
Thank you for your warmth, care, and knowledge.
Sincerely, Olga Salugina.

I came to Nepal, the birthplace of yoga, to better understand and immerse myself in the roots of this rich philosophy of life.
And this experience has changed mine.
In addition to a holistic approach to yoga, that is taught with patience and kindness, in a peaceful place, surrounded by nature, in the Nepalese countryside, it is also the opening to an introspective journey.
I did the 500h YTT and sound healing courses and I learned so much, about yoga and about myself.
It can be challenging, it’s intense but it worths it.
I feel so grateful for all of the team.
Everyone is so welcoming and caring.
From Guruji with all his wisdom and knowledge, to Vivek with his patience, teaching and kindness, to Samit and Rukesh always there to help and support you, to Basanti who cooked delicious vegetarian dishes with love… and everyone else!
You allowed me to grow, physically, mentally and spiritually…
Dherai dherai danyabad!
